Having known Domingo for a few years, I've always felt grateful to have such a talented, patient, generous, kind, and humble soul in my VO world. Ever since I left Atlanta in 2016, I wanted to find a coach, however, not just any coach. I wanted a voice over coach that was positive in their approach and opened your mind to different ways of delivering on a read. 

I feel that people come into your life for a reason and Domingo Castillo has honestly been a blessing to me in my journey to achieve voice over success. I knew I had to improve on my reads and interpret scripts in a variety of ways, however, I didn't realize that I was missing some key tools in my voice over tool chest. With Domingo's guidance I have come to understand the different volume levels at which you can read copy, changing up tempo and discovering the ebbs and flow of the script, focusing on keywords that truly have meaning and delivering your read with either a smile or a grin upon your face. Domingo always explains things in a way you can relate. His love for music shines through in his teachings and once sessions are complete, you come to realize it was time well spent.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Domingo during a group workout session of his. If you know anything about Domingo, you already know he is the most respectful person you could ever meet. He was patient and kind while directing those in the group as they stepped up to read.

There are two big things that stood out to me. The first was that he was able to meet each of those in the group at whatever level of performance they had while leading the way to the next level; A stretch in performance minimally. The second “Big Thing” was that while he met everyone where they were, his patience and encouragement did not waiver a bit. Impressive!
